CNC Setter/OperatorWellingboroughHours - Monday to Friday (Apply online only) or (Apply online only)Salary - Negotiable DOEAn established and growing manufacturing business is seeking 2 x experienced CNC Setter/Operators to join its production team on a permanent basis - one on the early shift and one on the back shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-invested manufacturing environment, working with advanced waterjet and CNC cutting technology to produce high-quality products for a diverse customer base. The role will focus heavily on the setup, programming and operation of CNC-controlled cutting equipment, with particular emphasis on waterjet cutting operations. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, programme and operate CNC waterjet cutting machinery safely and efficiently.Ensure machines are correctly configured to meet production requirements and quality standards.Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files and job specifications.Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise cutting quality, efficiency and material utilisation.Carry out first-off and in-process quality inspections to ensure components meet specification.Troubleshoot machine, programme and production issues, implementing corrective actions where required.Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.Assist with routine maintenance, machine care and basic fault finding.Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.About ..... full job details .....
