With continued investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and a strong pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a modern, high-specification engineering environment.Your New RoleAs CNC 5 Axis Setter, you will be responsible for setting and proving out jobs, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities will include:Setting and operating 5 Axis CNC milling machines.Working from engineering drawings, setup sheets and CNC programs.Preparing tooling, fixtures and workholding equipment.Setting tool and work offsets to achieve accurate component manufacture.Proving out new and existing programs safely and efficiently.Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.Troubleshooting machining issues and supporting continuous improvement activities.Working closely with programming, production and quality teams.Maintaining quality, traceability and health and safety standards throughout production.You''ll Need to SucceedPrevious experience setting CNC milling machines within a manufacturing environment.Ideally experienced on 5 Axis machinery, although experienced 3 Axis Setters looking to progress will also be considered.Ability to read and interpret engineering ..... full job details .....
