Role: CNC Service EngineerLocation: Manchester/MidlandsSalary: Up to 45,000 depending on experience My client is looking for a CNC Service Engineer to join their team. They work as the UK partner for leading machine tool brands, supplying equipment such as vertical lathes, double-column mills, and universal bedmills. Their engineers are central to delivering, installing, and supporting high-end machining solutions across industries including aerospace, nuclear, automotive, and energy. Responsibilities: Installation of new CNC machine tools at customer sitesCommissioning, testing, and optimisation of machinesPlanned preventative maintenance and servicingElectrical and mechanical fault finding and repairProviding customer support, operator training, and applications advice Skills and Experience:Experience working with CNC machine toolsKnowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control systemsStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsPrevious experience in a field service or maintenance roleCustomer-focused with strong communication skillsFull UK driving licenceWR Engineering are the recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing and technical sales jobs.
