This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of CNC machinery, develop your technical expertise and receive ongoing manufacturer training.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools at customer sites. You will play a key role in diagnosing technical issues, minimising machine downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:Installing and commissioning CNC machine tools and associated automation equipment.Diagnosing and repairing electrical, electronic and CNC control faults.Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.Fault-finding on CNC controls, PLCs, servo drives, spindle drives, motors, power supplies and feedback systems.Working with Heidenhain, Siemens SINUMERIK and Fanuc control systems.Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings and ladder diagrams.Using diagnostic software, ..... full job details .....
