CNC / Saw Operative – Solid Surface

Combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced precision engineering, About the Role Our client are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC / Saw Operative to join their growing solid surface manufacturing team.-The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery and panel saws to accurately cut, machine and prepare solid surface materials for fabrication and installation.-This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and the ability to work efficiently as part of a busy production team Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers and saw machinery safely and efficiently
• Cut, machine and prepare solid surface materials to drawings, specifications and job requirements
• Set up machinery, tooling and programmes for production runs
• Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and production information
• Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet the required standards
• Maintain accurate measurements and minimise material waste
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
• Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements
• Assist with general production and workshop duties when required

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery, panel saws or similar production equipment
• Experience working with solid surface materials is preferred, although training may be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements
• Good numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Experience with CNC programming or CAD/CAM software would be an advantage
• A practical, methodical and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
