CNC Quality Inspector

Role: CNC Quality Inspector Location: ClevedonSalary: Up to 38,000 plus shift allowance My client is looking for an experienced CNC Quality inspector to join their precision engineering team based in Clevedon. This is a hands-on inspection role working within a high-precision manufacturing environment, inspecting components produced using CNC machining and grinding processes. You''ll be responsible for ensuring components meet drawing, specification and quality requirements, working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain consistently high standards. Responsibilities include:Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection of precision-engineered components.Inspecting components against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.Using a range of manual inspection and measurement equipment to verify component dimensions and tolerances.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including GDandT and geometric tolerances.Carrying out dimensional checks on components manufactured using CNC turning, milling and grinding processes.Identifying non-conforming components and supporting investigations into the cause of quality issues.Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation.Working closely with CNC machinists, engineers and production teams to resolve quality issues.Supporting continuous improvement and helping to reduce scrap, rework and production issues.Ensuring inspection equipment is correctly ..... full job details .....
