      <description>Location: Wellington | Salary: 15.60-15.60 Hourly | Type: Temporary | Sheet metal fabrication business in Telford (TF7) is taking on five punch press setters and operators. One seat on days, four on nights. Temp to perm after twelve weeks. Read this bit first: the shifts are fixed. You pick days or you pick nights and that is the shift you stay on. There is no rotating, no alternating weeks, no getting pulled across at short notice. Whichever one you choose is the one you work. Days Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm Friday, 8am to 3pm Up to 15.60 per hour Nights Monday to Wednesday, 4.30pm to 3am Thursday, 4.30pm to 2am No Friday night, so it''s a four night week Up to 17.10 per hour The work Setting and running CNC turret punches, Trumpf on this site. Setting and changing tooling, grinding and keeping tools in condition, loading programmes, working off engineering drawings and checking your own components as they come off the machine. What they''re after Punch press setting on Trumpf or Amada, or something close enough that you''ll pick these up quickly. Confident reading drawings and gauging your own work. Fluent English for drawings, paperwork and safety. On nights especially you need to be able to run your machine without anyone stood next to you...</description>
