Position: CNC Programming Engineer - Laser / Punch Location: Milton Keynes Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 Depending on experience Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Milton Keynes, supplying precision engineering and metal fabricated parts to a range of including Automotive, Rail and Energy sectors. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team, who has experience in the programming of either CNC lasers or Punch / Press Machines. CNC Programming Engineer - Laser / Punch Position Overview Programming laser cutting machines and CNC punch / presses (machine training provided)Creating 3D CAD models for productionProviding advice on tooling requirementsChecking programs and CAD models prior to productionOptimising use of materials through nesting and programmingMentoring laser operatorsPreventative maintenance of machines and reducing set-up timesUpdating the MRP system with material requirments CNC Programming Engineer - Laser / Punch Position Requirements Previous experience in the programming of either CNC Lasers or CNC Punch / Press MachineryAbility to draw 3D parts using CAD softwareBased in a commutable distance of Milton KeynesGood communications and problem solving skills CNC Programming Engineer - Laser / Punch Position Remuneration Salary 40,000 - 50,000 depending on experienceMonday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00.
