CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer to join a well-established and growing precision engineering business based in Coventry.

Salary up to -39,000

The Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Setting, operating, and programming CNC sliding head machines
• Working specifically with Star sliding head machines
• Programming and operating using Fanuc control systems
• Producing high-precision components to exact specifications
• Ensuring efficiency, quality, and accuracy at all times
• Supporting continuous improvement within the machining process

About You:

• Proven experience in CNC setting, operating, and programming
• Strong knowledge of Star sliding head machines
• Experience using Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A pro active and reliable approach to work

• Salary : up to -39,000
• Working Hours - Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am 2:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily
• Two paid 10-minute breaks (morning & afternoon)
