Responsibilities
Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cellInterpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate productionExpertly program, set-up, and operate CNC machines using one or more of the specified control systemsChoose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining jobVigilantly monitor the CNC machines to guarantee consistent quality in production runsConduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, aiming for continuous process improvementAdhere to the highest safety standards and protocolsDiagnose and resolve any challenges encountered during the production processStay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold our industry-leading standardsKnowledge, Skills, Experience
Ability to program one of the following – Haas, Heidnehain, Mazak, Fanuc or Siemens5+ Years experience working within CNC ProgrammingHighest standards of HandS and Quality is essentialAbility to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming partsWorking with various materials including exotic grade alloysA detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding and cutting strategy is essentialA good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful teamCompany Benefits
