CNC Programmer

CNC PROGRAMMER/ SETTER 

We are  currently looking for an experienced individual, in programming, setting and operating 3 & 5 axis machining centres, someone who has a strong working knowledge of

VISI CAD/CAM & experience with Mazatrol, Siemens or Heidenhain controls is a must,

As a contract machine shop, the work is varied and diverse, it may include bespoke 1off work.

Requirements

The successful applicant must have experience producing small batch work & one offs from engineering drawings, you must have a sound knowledge of tooling along with feeds and speeds and be able to work to tight tolerances and inspect your own work.

.Responsibilities

• To Program, Set and Operate CNC machines. Ensuring lead times and delivery dates are met.
• To ensure quality requirements are maintained are carried out as required.
• To carry out Preventive Maintenance on machines.
• Ensuring work area kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping machine and all associated tools in a clean and tidy manner

.Hours 8.00 -16.30 Monday to Thursday 8.00-15.30 Friday

(Flexible start and finish times available after qualifying period)

Paying Up to £22per Hour - Depending on experience.

Regular overtime is available - 1.5 hourly rate.
