CNC Programmer

The Opportunity Trinity Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist with experience in programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality precision components. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems and be confident programming directly at the machine, setting tooling and workholding, and ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements. Key Responsibilities Programme, set and operate 2-axis CNC lathes using Fanuc control systems. Create, edit and optimise CNC programmes at the machine using G-code and M-code. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and production documentation. Set up machines, including tooling, fixtures, workholding, tool offsets and datum positions. Prove out new programmes and carry out first-off inspections before production runs. Manufacture precision components in both batch and one-off production runs. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to offsets and programmes where necessary. Carry out in-process inspections using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and bore gauges.
