A precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their growing technical team in Poole.

This is a great opportunity for someone with offline programming and CAM experience who enjoys working on complex components and improving manufacturing processes.

CNC Programmer - Key Responsibilities

• Offline programming and optimisation of CNC milling programs
• Developing machining strategies from engineering drawings and 3D models
• Supporting machine setup, prove-outs and troubleshooting
• Improving tooling, cycle times and production efficiency
• Supporting operators and sharing best practice on the shop floor
• Working closely with engineering and production teams

CNC Programmer - Requirements

• CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CAM software (e.g. Mastercam, Vericut or similar)
• Good understanding of multi-axis CNC machining
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
