This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience working on CNC Horizontal Boring/Milling machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC horizontal borers using Heidenhain control systems, producing high-quality medium to heavy-sized components from customer drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Setting, operating and programming CNC Horizontal Boring/Milling machines Working from detailed engineering drawings and customer specifications Producing medium to heavy workpieces to a high standard Carrying out self-inspection and ensuring components meet quality requirements Working safely and efficiently within a busy engineering environment Supporting overtime requirements when required Candidate Requirements: Previous experience operating CNC Horizontal Boring/Milling machines Strong experience with Heidenhain controls Ability to set and programme machines independently Confident reading and working from engineering drawings...
