CNC Programmer

OverviewAre you a CNC Miller who can program online at the machine from a drawing? Do you want to earn up to 20.16 per hour for a days only shift pattern? (26.81 per hour should you want to work nights). If so, then please read on.

Role detailsRole: CNC Programmer - Milling section

Position: Permanent

Location: Ilkeston

Shifts choice available:

Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm)

OR

Days and Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Wed (8.30pm to 7.00am) and Thurs (8.30pm to 6.00am)

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Pay and hoursPay rates are dependent on experience:

Level 1: 16.97 per hour for days and 22.57 per hour for nights

Level 2: 17.77 per hour for days and 23.63 per hour for nights

Level 3: 18.55 per hour for days and 24.67 per hour for nights

Level 4: 19.36 per hour for days and 25.74 per hour for nights

Level 5: 20.16 per hour for days and 26.81 per hour for nights

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

ResponsibilitiesWorking in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we require a CNC Programmer to join the milling section. You will be required to program from a drawing, alongside setting and operating the machines.

Qualifications

Time served engineering apprenticeship

Must have previous CNC Milling experience - programming from drawings online at the machine.

Be able to program/edit online at the machine - Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered.

Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings

Commutable from: Ilkeston, Ripley, Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
