      <description>Location: Maldon | Salary: &amp;pound;18 - &amp;pound;25/hour | Type: Permanent | Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join an established engineering team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and setting CNC milling machines using Siemens ShopMill controls. You will be working from engineering drawings to produce accurate, high-quality components and will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.  Roles &amp; Responsibilities  - Programming CNC milling machines using Siemens ShopMill  - Writing CNC programs from scratch using engineering drawings  - Setting and preparing CNC milling machines for production  - Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings  - Selecting appropriate tooling and determining suitable cutting conditions  - Setting up jobs for machine operators to run independently  - Checking completed components to ensure they meet drawing specifications and required tolerances  - Carrying out first-off inspections and making programme or setting adjustments where required  - Troubleshooting machining and programming issues  - Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process  - Managing workload and prioritis...</description>
