The company operates both CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, including fourth-axis machinery. Experience using Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Create, edit and optimise CNC programmes. Programme, set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines. Operate fourth-axis CNC machinery where required. Programme machinery using Fanuc controls. Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and 2D CAD drawings. Select suitable tooling, speeds and feeds. Manufacture high- and low-value metal and plastic components. Produce components to tight tolerances, potentially up to -0.005 mm. Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometres, verniers and gauges. Identify and resolve machining, tooling and programming issues.
