CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator

Pay Rate: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and growing engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong programming, setting, and operating experience on CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines while ensuring components are produced to high-quality standards and tight tolerances.

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to tight tolerances and high precision standards
• Setting tools and understanding cutting speeds and feeds
• Producing programs using G Codes including
• Using inspection and measurement equipment including:
• Deburring machined components during production cycles
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Working in line with ISO9001 quality standards

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn and improve
