Cnc Programmer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking precision engineering company based in Burton on Trent. Due to sustained business growth and a diverse order book across sectors including Medical, Energy, Aerospace, Defence, and Transportation, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter, Operator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, well-equipped environment on a variety of challenging components using the latest CNC milling technology.

Monday to Friday with overtime available

Day shift only

• Program, set, and operate CNC Turning machines with Fanuc control systems.
• Machine a range of high-precision parts from drawings and 3D models.
• Handle batch work involving large components (up to 2 metres).
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure component accuracy.
• Maintain quality and production standards with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in programming Fanuc CNC controls from scratch and editing at the machine.
• Background in medium-to-large component machining within a high-spec workshop.
• Excellent understanding of feeds/speeds, cutting strategies, and geometric tolerances.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and follow quality procedures.
