Key Responsibilities Programme and set CNC milling machines using Siemens ShopMill . Write CNC programmes from scratch, working from engineering drawings with minimal supervision. Accurately interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications. Set up and prove out jobs, ensuring tooling, programmes and cutting conditions are suitable. Prepare jobs for machine operators to run independently. Check and inspect your own work to ensure components meet drawing requirements. Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies. Apply a strong understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds and cutting conditions. Manage your own workload and priorities while maintaining high standards of quality. Essential Requirements Minimum 3 years'' experience in CNC programming and setting. Strong experience with Siemens ShopMill . Proven ability to write CNC programmes from scratch.
