CNC Programmer

Position: CNC Programmer
Location: Redditch
Salary: -32 - 42k DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 to 13:00

CNC Programmer required to join a well-established Manufacturer based in the Redditch area. The successful candidate will be assisting with setting, operating and programming of CNC lathes & mills, whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience on Hurco Lathe & Hurco Max.

CNC Programmer Job Overview

• Set up, operate and prgramme CNC Lathes and Milling machines (Hurco).
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, considering material specifications and machining requirements.
• Develop and modify CNC programs as needed to optimise machining processes.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Continuously monitor and optimize machining processes for efficiency and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

CNC Programmer Job Requirements

• Programming, setting and operating experience is highly advantageous (however they are willing to train someone that has some machining / turning experience is willing to learn)
• Hurco controls / machinery experience is also highly advantageous
• Must live within a commutable distance of Redditch

CNC Programmer Salary & Benefits

• Full time - Permanent position
• -15 - -19 per hour - depending on experience (-32-42k annual)
• Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 to 13:00.
• Holiday allowance & pension
