Aspired talent are looking for an CNC Programmer (Turner) for our client in Manchester. Hours are 8am till 430pm Monday to Thursday and 730am till 3pm Friday.As a CNC Machinist, you have responsibility of programming, setting and operating CNC lathes in the Machine Shop Department Responsibilities • Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering drawings, materials, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. • Programs machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs • Sets-up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, collet chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and bar feeders etc. • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to company production, quality standards and procedures. • Maintains specifications by observing machining operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Maintains safe operations by adhering to health and safety procedures and regulations. • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer''s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; speaking to line manager to call ..... full job details .....
