The Role Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines. Online programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Selecting appropriate tooling and cutting strategies. Performing first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment. Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Assisting with continuous improvement and process optimisation. The Candidate Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator. Ability to program, set and operate independently. Experience working within a precision engineering environment. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. Competent using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges. Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail. Benefits Negotiable salary based on experience.
