The Role Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines. Online programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Selecting appropriate tooling and cutting strategies. Performing first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment. Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Assisting with continuous improvement and process optimisation. The Candidate Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator. Ability to program, set and operate independently. Experience working within a precision engineering environment. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
