CNC Press Brake Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our client''s team based in Bacup, on a temporary to permanent basis. This role involves setting, operating and adjusting AMADA press brake machinery within a busy fabrication environment, bending sheet steel to precise specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety.

Who this role would suit
This role would suit an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with knowledge of AMADA machinery and a strong fabrication background. It is ideal for someone confident changing tooling, setting machines independently, and interpreting engineering drawings. Candidates with practical experience working to bend allowances and tolerances will excel in this hands-on manufacturing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, operate and adjust CNC AMADA press brake machinery

• Change tooling to meet varying production requirements

• Bend sheet steel up to 8mm thickness to precise specifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

• Work to bend allowances, tolerances and quality standards
