Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC press brake and metal forming machinery to produce precision components. Configure and adjust tooling, bend allowances, and machine programs for various materials (stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel). Verify and approve first-off parts to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct in-process quality checks and oversee quality compliance for other operators within the team. Support and mentor less experienced operators, providing guidance on safe operation, setup, and quality practices. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical data. Identify and resolve production or quality issues promptly to minimise downtime. Monitor and maintain machine performance and carry out basic maintenance or fault reporting. Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to ensure all output meets required standards.
