My client in the Dronfield area are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative.Duties of the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator with experience using Bystronic press brake machines to join our steel fabrication team.The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape steel components to precise specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Bystronic CNC press brake machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and job specificationsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accuratelySelect appropriate tooling, dies, and machine parameters for each jobProgram and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and accuracyPerform quality checks using measuring toolsEnsure all parts meet tolerance and quality standardsCarry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machineryTroubleshoot and resolve minor machine or production issuesFollow all health and safety regulations and company proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience operating CNC press brakes, preferably Bystronic machinesStrong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD filesFamiliarity with CNC programming and machine setupHigh attention to detail and accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminumForklift licence (advantageous)Working DaysIND123
