Job Opportunity: CNC Programmer - Stockton-on-Tees
 
Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, specialising in the design and production of bespoke filtration and separation systems for industries such as pharmaceutical, food & beverage, water treatment, nuclear, oil & gas, and aerospace. With a reputation for quality and precision, they produce highly engineered components from a range of exotic metals to meet strict operational and regulatory standards.
 
They are now seeking a CNC Programmer to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work with both lathes and milling machines, producing small cylindrical components with high accuracy. Ideally, they are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer (Fanuc controls), but they will also consider candidates with strong CNC operating/setting experience who demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn programming.
 
What You''ll Do

  • Program, set, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines (Fanuc controls).
  • Carry out tool changes and machine adjustments as required.
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings to manufacture precision components.
  • Produce small cylindrical parts using a variety of exotic metals 
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all finished work, maintaining high standards throughout.
  • Follow health & safety and workshop practices at all times.
  • Support supervisors and team members with production tasks where needed.
What You''ll Need
  • Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, or as a CNC Operator/Setter with a strong ability and willingness to learn programming.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience performing tool changes and machine setup.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • A proactive attitude and desire to develop new skills.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, depending on programming skills and experience.
  • Hours: 38.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Full training in CNC programming available for candidates with the right background.
