Cnc Operator

Pyramid8 are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join a busy team in Sherburn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong machining background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining efficient production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, or both)
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are running efficiently
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery is essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic

Desirable:

• Experience with programming
