CNC Operator / CNC Miller - Aerospace Manufacturing - Southend-on-Sea
Salary: up to -30,500 (DOE)

Experienced CNC Operator required to join a global aerospace manufacturing business producing precision-engineered components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling machines (horizontal and vertical machining centres)
• Manufacture small-batch, high-precision aerospace components
• Work to tight tolerances from detailed engineering drawings
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment
• Carry out drilling, deburring, finishing, and packing of parts
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy
• Support wider machine shop, assembly, and fabrication activities

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator / CNC Miller
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with metal materials
• Competent with metric and imperial measurements
• Skilled in using inspection and measuring tools
• Methodical, detail-focused approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience
• CNC apprenticeship or formal training
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
