Do you have a passion for engineering?Have you worked with CNC machines in a workshop environment?My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team.As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will work with a team producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications and strict quality standards using CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling processes.As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will:Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and productsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsUse precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerancesInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsFollow health and safety procedures at all timesThe successful CNC Machine Shop Operative will have:Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environmentAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsExcellent attention to detailGood communication skillsAbility to work as part of a teamWillingness to learn and take on new challengesShift patternMon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours)Due to the early start time, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to site.If you have the necessary experience and are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.Please send your CV to apply or call ..... full job details .....
