Role: CNC Operator - Miller and Programmer / Setter OperatorLocation: HarlowHours: Full timeSalary: £17.00phAn excellent opportunity has now arisen for a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operator to join our clients successful team.Duties of a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operator: Set up and operate CNC milling machines in line with job specifications and production requirements.Program, edit, and optimise CNC programs using Siemens or Heidenhain controls.Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machining instructions.Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting materials for each job.Perform machine set ups, tool changes, and offsets to ensure accurate machining.Monitor machining operations and inspect components to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.Carry out first-off inspections and make adjustments where required.Work with a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel.Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company procedures.Assist with continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives where required. What we would like from you: Technical Expertise: Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines, with strong knowledge of Siemens or Heidenhain controls.Programming Experience: Ability to programme, set, and operate CNC milling machinery independently.Industry Experience: Typically 2 5 years of hands-on experience within a precision ..... full job details .....
