This is a newly created role supporting the introduction of an in-house manufacturing capability for producing critical precision components within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.This is a highly autonomous role working closely with Engineering and Production teams, suited to someone who enjoys independent working within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.The Role• Set up and operate a range of CNC machine tools including:o5-axis machining centresoFanuc controlled CNC lathesoVertical machining centresoMulti-axis turn/mill machining centres• Manufacture precision components and sealing products to tight tolerances• Carry out machine setup, tooling changes and process optimisation• Work within small batch and high-precision manufacturing environments• Use inspection equipment including hard gauging, probing systems and CMM equipment to ensure product quality• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation• Work with materials including stainless steels and heat-resistant super alloys• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ..... full job details .....
