CNC Operator Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Salary: £33,000 £34,000 per annum including shift allowance (17.5%) Shifts: Double Days 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm Hours: 37.5 hours per week The Company Our client is an established manufacturing business with a dedicated machine shop, producing precision-engineered components to demanding quality standards. They are looking for a CNC Operator to join their production team in Stonehouse, supporting efficient manufacturing operations and ensuring components are produced accurately and consistently. The Role As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery within the machine shop, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Working alongside CNC Setters, Charge Hands and the wider production team, you will help minimise component scrap, identify production issues and ensure all work is completed in line with engineering drawings and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate one or more CNC machines within the machine shop. Carry out daily machine health checks and report any issues. Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure components meet the required specifications. Monitor component quality and minimise scrap and non-conforming parts. Complete production paperwork, job traveller documentation and work records accurately. Identify and report quality issues through the appropriate non-conformance procedures.
