CNC Operator

Gotpeople are working with a successful and expanding subcontract engineering company who supply into a range of high-spec industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Food and Scientific sectors.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their busy production team on a temp-to-perm basis. The RoleOperating CNC Lathes, Milling and/or Grinding machinesDeburring and finishing precision componentsUsing hand tools and specialist finishing equipmentSupporting general production activities as required Skills and Experience RequiredPrevious manufacturing experience (ideally within a CNC or engineering environment)Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers and gaugesAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsGood attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerancesStrong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlinesComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills Working Hours and PayMonday to Friday (day shifts)Full-time hoursUp to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)LocationDue to the site location, own transport is essentialWhat''s on OfferTemp to perm opportunity with a growing businessImmediate start availableOpportunity to work within high-spec industriesStable, long-term career ..... full job details .....
