CNC Operator

A rapidly expanding manufacturing company located in Clacton-On-Sea are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team.

This will be a temporary - permanent position, paying up to -12.98 per hour.

Overview of the role:

• This role involves set up and operating of CNC machinery, whilst interpreting CAD drawings.

What does the position involve?

• As a CNC Operator, you will need to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Use LEAN and continuous improvement methods to aid the manufacturing department
• Work within a team to meet production deadlines, whilst maintaining accurate records
• Ensure that health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Collaborate with R & D, fabrication and operations

Candidate requirements:

• NVQ, Diploma or apprenticeship within engineering or similar
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills are required
• Willingness to support across various departments within the business
• Experience in CNC Operation and CAM programming with Autodesk or Solidworks is advantageous
