Job description

Due to expansion of our machine shop, we are looking to hire a CNC machine operator. The job role consists of mainly the following:

• Loading/unloading raw cast iron parts to machine fixtures.
• Deburring parts to remove sharp edges.
• Gauging parts using basic attribute gauges (Go/NoGo)
• Packing parts to correct specification.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 05:45 – 14:00 with 10min paid break and 15min unpaid break 40 paid hrs.

This is a permanent role, and we need a reliable individual. Excellent timekeeping and attendance are critical in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided.

We offer 31 days holiday per year and uniform to be provided on completion of probationary period.

What we are looking for:

• Good English and numeracy skills with attention to detail.
• Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately and consistently.

Starting rate is £12.71
