      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;14.00/hour | Type: Contract | CNC Operator    Location:  Dudley   Job Type:  Temporary to Permanent   Hours:  Full Time    Monday - Thursday:  7:15am - 4:30pm   Friday:  7:15am - 12:30pm    Job Overview   We are currently recruiting for an experienced  CNC Operator  to join a well-established manufacturing company on a  temp-to-perm  basis. This is a full-time role offering stable hours and the opportunity for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.   Key Responsibilities    Operating CNC machines, specifically  Protec CNC machines   Setting up machines and ensuring correct tooling is used  Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently  Monitoring machine operations and making minor adjustments where required  Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications  Reading and interpreting engineering drawings  Maintaining a clean and safe working environment  Adhering to all health and safety procedures    Requirements    Proven experience operating  Protec CNC machines   Previous experience in a CNC Operator role  Ability to read and understand technical drawings  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality  Reliable, punctual, and able to work independent...</description>
