WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU

• Temp to Perm Role
• 4 day working week - Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 16:15
• Overtime available paid at time ¼ for the first 4 hours and time ½ for the remaining shift
• 40-hour contractual weeks
• £13/hour
• Once permanent 25 days leave + Bank holidays

THE BUSINESS

Our client is a world class manufacturing/engineering business with an ever-growing presence throughout the UK. They take pride in crafting exceptional doors, door sets, and screens that seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality. CNC Operator to join their dedicated team.

THE ROLE

• Load raw materials onto the machine bed and secure them properly
• Input, edit, and adjust CNC programs as required
• Select and change cutting tools, bits, and attachments
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

THE PERSON

• Proven experience operating CNC router machines within a woodworking or joinery environment
• Experience working with timber, MDF, plywood, laminates, and composite boards
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
