CNC Multi Spindle Lathe Turner

We are recruiting for a CNC Multi Spindle Lathe Turner to join an established manufacturing business based in Standish, Wigan. This is a hands on role within a busy Engineering and Manufacturing environment, setting and operating multi spindle CNC turning machines to produce precision machined components. You will be working from engineering drawings and specified tolerances, taking responsibility for machine setting, tooling and component quality throughout production. The role would suit an experienced CNC Turner with a strong background in multi spindle machining, who is confident setting machinery, working with tooling and work holding and carrying out their own component inspection. Salary: 17.00 per hour / 33,592 per annum. Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 11:30am. Overtime: Available Monday to Friday, paid at time and a half ( 25.50 per hour). CNC Multi Spindle Lathe Turner: Set and operate multi spindle CNC turning machines to produce precision machined components. Manufacture components from engineering drawings, working accurately to specified dimensions and tolerances. Carry out first off and in process inspection using micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and other precision measuring equipment. Select and set appropriate tooling, fixtures and work holding equipment for individual machining requirements.
