CNC Milling Setter / Operator 7029 Location: Derby Hours: 36.5 hours per week Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent First Base Employment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join their Manufacturing Department in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Milling Setter / Operator with proven experience within a high-precision manufacturing environment to join an established team and develop their skills further. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring components are produced efficiently, accurately and in line with the required quality and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Miller Setter Operator: Use and control CNC programmes in accordance with relevant procedures. Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine setting and operation. Understand and adjust set-up parameters, including datum setting, tool length and tool wear offsets. Set up CNC milling machines using the required workholding and tooling. Edit CNC programmes where required. Complete machining operations efficiently and accurately in line with Job Card instructions and required output levels. Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and engineering standards.
