Manual milling experience would also be a real advantage.My client is an established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire, looking for a CNC Milling Setter / Operator to increase internal manufacturing capacity. The business is bringing work in-house from an external supplier to address ongoing quality issues and improve the availability of spare parts for its customers.Set, Operate and Manufacture Quality ComponentsThis is a hands-on machining role where you''ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture components from castings and raw materials. You''ll be working with CNC milling machines, using existing programmes with some minor editing required where necessary.Your responsibilities:Your day-to-day work will involve setting and operating CNC milling machines safely and efficiently, manufacturing components from castings and raw materials, and working from engineering drawings to achieve the required tolerances.
