CNC Miller/ CNC TurnerWest Byfleet 18 - 19.50 PH Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller/ CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce complex components to tight tolerances using Heidenhain and Siemens control systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail and experience working in a high-spec environment with demanding quality standards.This role reports to the Machine Shop Manager / Supervisor. Location:Workshop-based precision machining environment. PPE required at all times. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on workload. What you will be doing: Program, set and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and Siemens controlsManufacture precision components to tight tolerances (micron-level where required)Work from detailed engineering drawings including GDandT specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting parameters and machining strategiesMachine a range of materials including steels, stainless steels and exotic alloysConduct first-off inspection and in-process checks using precision measuring equipmentEnsure all parts meet strict quality and customer specificationsOptimise programs and processes to improve cycle times while maintaining qualityTroubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or setups accordinglyMaintain machines and ensure safe ..... full job details .....
