CNC Miller / Turner - Night Shift

Location: Poole

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 39 hours per week between the hours of 6pm - 6am (flexible)

Pay: £17 - £18ph + 30% shift allowance for night working

Our client is a long-established family-owned group with multiple sites specializing in high-precision machines and metal treatment services. With continued investment, expansion and a strong order book, they''re biw strengthening their nightshift team in Poole.

The role:

• Set and operate CNC Mill / Turn machines to produce precision components in line with customer drawings
• Use FAUNC control systems confidently to manage tooling, offset and machining parameters
• Carry out in-process inspection of your own work, ensuring compliance with drawing requirements and SPC standards
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and general engineering competence
• Keep your work area clean, organized and compliance with 5C / 5S standards

About you:

• Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
• Strong engineering background with proven ability as a fully skilled CNC setter / operator
• Experience working with FAUNC controls
• Familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar-feed systems is advantageous
• Aerospace experience is highly desirable
