CNC MillerSalary 34,500 (including shift allowance) overtime available, Bristol BS34, 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, alternate shift pattern working 06:00-14:00 -14:00-22:00, 25 days + bank holidays, company pension, parking. Friendly, successful and expanding aerospace engineering company in Bristol are recruiting for a cnc machinist or cnc miller who would report to the production manager. Responsibilities for the cnc machinist or cnc miller Setting up and operating 3-axis cnc milling machines. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Selecting appropriate tooling for job. Working with quality team to ensure part-conformity and traceability. Communicating any equipment needs with Engineering and Quality managers. Key Skills required for the cnc machinist or cnc miller Minimum 2 years'' experience operating cnc machinery Setting and operating cnc machines - preferably cnc milling machines Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Experience of 3 axis milling machining centers preferable but not essential Ability to do basic editing cnc programs to suit need if required Fanuc experience preferable but not essential Using measuring tools - vernier and calipers Ability to record information and communicate effectively with colleaguesThis Bristol based aerospace company offers the opportunity to work in a stable and friendly environment with a good benefits package and modern working environment.
