The business manufactures complex, low-volume precision parts for demanding industries using advanced CNC technology and inspection equipment. The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Experience with Heidenhain-controlled CNC milling machines is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities- Set and operate CNC milling machines.- Machine complex precision components to engineering drawings.- Produce first-off and low-volume batch work to tight tolerances.- Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment.- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.- Support tooling selection and machining processes.- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area.- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
