Duties Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on job specifications. Operate CNC equipment to produce parts with precision, ensuring adherence to dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine inspections of machined parts using hand tools and measurement devices such as calipers and micrometers. Adjust machine settings or tooling as needed to optimize performance and maintain quality standards. Conduct turning, milling, or other machining operations on various materials including plastics and metals. Collaborate with engineering teams using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and One CNC software for interpreting technical drawings and modifying programs. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following proper safety protocols and performing regular machine maintenance.
