Working within a modern manufacturing environment equipped with advanced CNC machining technology, you will be responsible for setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exacting tolerances and quality standards. This opportunity would suit a skilled CNC machinist with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting production requirements. Key Responsibilities Set and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture complex, precision-engineered components. Interpret detailed engineering drawings and apply GDandT principles. Operate Heidenhain control systems, including basic on-machine programming and modifying existing programmes. Select, prepare and set tooling using heat-shrink systems and collet chucks.
