Job Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator

Location: Coventry

Shift: Monday- Thursday 6:45-4:00PM and a 6:45AM-11:45AM finish on a Friday!

Salary: Up to -17.50 DOE (40 hours paid)

The CNC Miller setter role:

The CNC Miller Setter Operator is responsible for the precision machining of complex components to aerospace and defence standards.

Responsibilities:

• CNC milling setting and operating
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Checking own work using various measuring equipment.
• Working to tight tolerance and using quality measuring tools to check work.
• Working independently whilst maintain standards and project requirements.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining CNC machine and all associated equipment and machining area.
• Reporting into CNC Team Leader
• Mainly using HAAS Machines
• Understanding of how to programme would be beneficial.

Previous Experience:

• Apprentice trained or Proven experience as a CNC miller

• Experience in high precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read & interpret technical drawings
