A well-established manufacturer of specialist packaging machinery is looking to add an experienced CNC Miller / Machine Setter Operator to their growing manufacturing team.

This role is focused on setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components used in bespoke packaging equipment.

The Role

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components from engineering drawings
• Work to works orders and job specifications
• Ensure parts are produced to the required quality standards
• Carry out basic adjustments to programs where required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Machines / Controls

• Winmax
• Siemens
• Heidenhain

Shift Pattern

Two-shift rotation:

• 06:00 – 14:00/14:00 – 23:00 Monday – Thursday
• 14:00 – 18:00 Friday

25% shift allowance paid.

What They’re Looking For

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Experience working with precision components
• Experience using Winmax, Siemens or Heidenhain controls would be beneficial

Salary & Benefits

• £29,000 – £31,000 basic salary (£36k–£39k package)
• + 25% shift allowance
• Structured shift pattern with no weekend working
• 23 days holiday increasing annually to 25 days
